Rauland AMETEK in Mount Prospect is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to add to our warehouse team. In this role you will be responsible for picking, packing and shipping products and parts for both internal and external customer orders, receiving incoming materials, as well as delivering and storing items to their appropriate locations. Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Accurately fill daily orders for internal and external customers.
  • Process inventory and shipping transactions according to established procedures.
  • Pick and deliver materials to manufacturing point of use locations in timely manner to support lead-time objectives. Pick up finished goods from production lines and receive them into stock. Provide timely intercompany deliveries.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks manually and by use of hand trucks and lift trucks. Count and verify receipts based on the bill of lading. Review incoming product for physical damage.
  • Employ inventory control methods to ensure accurate counts including supporting inventory audits and cycle counting. Follow First-In/First-Out (FIFO) procedures.
  • Activities related to meeting 5S objectives (organization of the workplace for maximum safety, efficiency cleanliness and productivity).
  • Process Device History Records by following applicable SOPs and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Able to work 8:00AM-4:30 PM shift

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent & 1-3 years of experience in a shipping and receiving department.
  • Must be able to efficiently pack or crate materials and product. Completes inventory transactions within computer applications and processes shipping through shipper’s manifest systems.
  • Read and write English, strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Must be able to operate hand trucks, power lift forklift(certified), stretch-wrap equipment, hand tools, counting scales and power nail and staple guns.
  • Must work well individually and in a team environment with a positive work ethic.
  • Proficient with common computer user interfaces: keyboard, mouse, scanners. Accurately read and records long data strings.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:


  • Problem solving or teamwork certifications
  • Working in warehouse environment with more than 500 part numbers
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
