We have an immediate opening in our Cleveland, OH headquarters for a qualified

Shipping Assistant.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform duties within Shipping where the primary responsibility is to process incoming and out going shipments.

• Receive incoming shipments, including: Unload pallets and boxes from incoming trucks; Inspect items against purchase order receivers to verify item identity, quantity, and condition; Log and label received goods; Trigger incoming QA or requisitioner inspections; Route items to crib.

• Process outgoing shipments, including: Retrieve specified boxes and pallets of parts from specified warehouse locations; Scan boxes and pallets out of stock; Use counting scale to divide or combine cartons; Repack parts according to shipping instructions; Label boxes for shipment; Palletize boxes on skids; Shrink-wrap pallets; Load boxes and pallets onto trucks

• Drive company vehicles to make local pickup and/or dropoff deliveries
• Keep warehouse and shipping areas clean and tidy
• Accurately prepare and maintain appropriate records
• Perform other related duties as requested or assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs)
• Attention to detail
• Good attendance
• Good vision
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment including fork lift
• Ability to perform basic data entry on a computer
• Valid drivers license
• Clean driving record
