Rainshadow Labs is a full-service facility offering product development and product design, manufacturing and technical support including packaging and label procurement, warehousing for excess product packaging, contract filling, multi-product packaging and shipping and logistics support.

Job Scope:

The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for supporting the needs of the warehouse. Supports parcel pick & pack as well as freight prepping and shipping. Performs cycle counts and clerical work such as filing, document processing, simple mathematical calculations and/or record keeping both offline and in the SAP/Batchmaster system.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Comply with RainShadow Labs policies, procedures, and quality standards as well as safety and environmental regulations.

· Responsible for shipping all customer orders:

o Wholesale direct buy

o Sample orders

o Custom Freight Orders

· Works with the various departments to pull and prep custom shipments

· Ensure transactions and paperwork are completed accurately

· Support document filling record keeping per RSL procedures

· Supports cycle counts and annual physical inventory

· Assist with maintaining the warehouse clean and orderly

· Responsible for receiving component and raw material per RSL procedures

· Assist with restacking of pallets, ensuring that pallets are properly tagged, and put away

· Actively participate as a team member in continuous improvement activities

· Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

· High School Diploma

· 3-5 years of related work experience in consumer products or health and beauty (HBA) industry.

· At minimum, must have experience in the following functional areas of Operations: Warehouse, Pick & Pack, and Logistics

Equipment Use & Abilities Required:

Warehouse Equipment Use: Forklifts, electric pallet jacks

Office Equipment Use: Copy machines, printers, fax machines, calculators, personal computers and computer terminals.

Computer Skills: Proficient using systems such as SAP/Batchmaster, MRP, MS-word, Access, etc. Proficient in excel.

Language Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume.

Reasoning Ability: Team player.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Regularly sit while working on the computer; use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls; repeat the same movements when entering data; ability to differentiate between colors, shades, and brightness; read from a computer screen for extended periods of time.

· Regularly stand and walk around to complete work, gather supplies, use equipment, or collaborate with employees.

· Regularly stand, stoop, and lift or move objects, equipment and supplies weighing approximately 50 pounds. Push and pull up to 450lbs.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distant, and peripheral vision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
