Environment for Shipping and Receiving Associate / General Labor:

The Shipping and Receiving Associate / General Labor will be working in a small plant where metal recyclers come in to drop off. It can be cold or hot depending on the weather outside. PPE is required including steel toed boots, safety glasses, high vis, hard hat, and more. You will be required to live up to 65 lbs daily and operate a hilo. The ability to use computer systems and have great customer service skills is key!

Position Summary for Shipping and Receiving Associate / General Labor:

Buy metals material from industrial accounts and customers/public. Weigh the materials the customer brings in, advise them on what type of material it is and how much we are paying out for that material. After the materials are bought the Scale Buyer will sort, upgrade and process the nonferrous material. The Scale Buyer also needs to have some experience operating a forklift and other heavy equipment.

The Scale Buyer needs to be able to work computer systems well, have great customer service, and eagerness to learn our different metal commodities. We are looking for an individual who wants to learn our organization and then grow into other opportunities with us. We are always looking for future leaders and the Scale Buyer role is a great place to start and learn about the recycling industry.

Monday - Friday 9a - 530p

Saturdays as needed
