Position Purpose: Operate and understand a Dual Fly-Knife Rotary Sheeter, including roll handling, paper slitting and sheeting
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Required: Must have a minimum of 2 years of knowledge and background in paper sheeting or similar web handling industry- Web fed printing, Slitting/Rewinding, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run and maintain quality standards for flatness, surface quality, and dimensional accuracy while operating sheeter at a standard efficiency.
- Follow and adhere to I.Q.M.S. schedule
- Scan all pallets when finished into I.Q.M.S.
- Successfully maintain paperwork and documents associated with order
- Perform change overs in a timely manner
- Perform routine adjustments to equipment when needed
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment including the storage of materials and tooling
- All other duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities
- To work independently and in a group setting
- To follow step by step setup procedures and work with close tolerances
- Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16" and a caliper to .001 of an inch
- To move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- To work in a fast paced environment
- To understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
Safety: To maintain proper safety standards according to established Sanitary and Housekeeping Practices (GMP Compliance). Proper use of all safety equipment i.e.: proper use of personal protective gear including hairnets, gloves and safety glasses.
