This engineer will have primary responsibility into ServiceNow development and the deliverables of our clients.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues to automate business processes through requirement gatherings, development, UATs, deployment and implementation of code releases

  • Lead team activities as required, including those which are part of the Agile process such as scrum meetings

  • Transform functional requirements into detailed technical designs that translate to actionable development tasks in order to write effective acceptance criteria for stories

  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff

  • Perform day to day ServiceNow administrative duties, including user provisioning, access provisioning, and monitoring health, usage, and overall compliance of the application

  • Respond to production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts across technology areas.

  • Coordinate and perform platform maintenance and version updates in partnership with vendors and colleagues, as require

  • Work with IT teams to develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow applications and external business applications

  • Create and update documentation in support of development efforts

  • Conduct research on new development opportunities, methodologies and technologies that could solve business or technological needs or issues

  • Develop and present ServiceNow options and products that solve business or technological needs or issues to stakeholders and end users

  • Create and maintain system design and operations documentation

  • Collaborate on a ServiceNow-centric roadmap for the enterprise

  • Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products

  • Will work with core ITSM modules:

    • Service Catalog Management

    • Incident Management

    • Change Management

    • Release/SDLC

    • Problem Management

    • Request Management

    • Knowledge Management

    • Asset Management

    • Discovery and CMDB

    • Self-Service Portal

    • Reporting

    • SLAs

Required Qualifications:


  • 1+ years of work experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset)

  • 1+ years of ServiceNow experience


Preferred Qualification:


  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certified

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only:
The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
