Moosejaw Service Technician, Bike & Snow
- Outfits customers with outdoor equipment according to customer preferences. Fits equipment/boots for customers.
- Demonstrates knowledge and familiarity with new and notable skis/snowboard/bike industry products. Provides insight to customers and buyers on current trends.
- Identifies skis/snowboards/bikes that need servicing and makes recommendations on the types of service needed.
- Provides customers with accurate estimates for cost and completion dates of bike/snow service. Procures any parts necessary to complete estimated service.
- Performs service/maintenance for snow sports and/or bike equipment as needed, including custom boot fitting and foot beds.
- Builds and services snow sports and/or bike-focused equipment service centers. Maintains service equipment areas according to company policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with company and manufacturer instructions and recommendations for skis/snowboard/bike products.
- Ensures skis/snowboard/bike products are inventoried and contracts remain current.
- Creates and implements training programs for an assigned retail store.
- Communicates and carries out open/close processes for an assigned retail store.
- Supports the Gear Wizard program, with a special focus on bike/snow knowledge.
