Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a job open in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area. Our Environmental Service Program (ESP), is looking to add a skilled tech to the team that can contribute to servicing and maintaining our customers equipment and machines.

The Service Technician will be responsible for installing equipment and assisting customers by providing excellent service. Our service preventive maintenance for our customers who lease or rent dish machines, and also purchase chemical products for laundry, housekeeping, and kitchen applications from Imperial Dade. This position is 'on the road' and the company will provide the vehicle and cover the fuel and maintenance on said vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Clock on and clock off with the Chemical Manager at start/end of work day.
• Install, repair, and maintain chemical equipment.
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and repair parts as required for the job.
• Respond to all emergency calls received within 30 minutes of receiving the call
• Maintain clean and orderly service truck including inventory for equipment and parts
• Fill out service reports and other necessary paperwork after completing each service call. This is to be completed on a computer tablet devise and forwarded to a company administrator and Chemical Manager
• Write and complete all service reports and copy Sales Associates and Chemical Manager
• Complete and submit weekly recap of accounts seen and other activities, plus weekly work plan
• Daily/monthly route coverage according to monthly plan
• Maintain Update Route books (3 ring binders with one page for each account.)

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands on experience servicing the food service and hospitality industry
• 2 year of Electrical experience
• 2 year of Plumbing experience
• 1 year of experience with various makes of commercial dish washers and dispensing equipment and installations
• Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• High standard of workmanship and professionalism
• Good troubleshooting ability
• Be on call for Emergency calls
• Excellent communication skills
• Understand principles of operation of dish machines and laundry machine functions
• Proficiency with computer applications and use, email, etc.
