Job Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, and minor repairs, following Mercedes Express Maintenance process
• Tire replacement, and tire repair
• Communicate with service advisors when additional repairs are needed
• Work alongside skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs
• Opportunity and support to become a certified Mercedes Technician, and ASE certified
• Service department is open from 7am-6pm

Job Requirements

Must possess 1 year of automotive maintenance experience.

• Experience can include oil changes, basic maintenance, or minor repair work
• Full time position with the ability to work Saturdays
• MUST have valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills

• All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks and drug testing
  

Experience working in a new car dealership as a technician is a plus.

Minimum qualifications:

• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Ability to deal effectively with customers and dealership personnel.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
• Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
