Purpose (key contribution to the company)

Hiab’s ambition is to significantly increase the number of active service contracts and other subscription-based service products. To support this ambition, the Solution Specialist, Contracts and PM will work on streamlining the existing legacy technical solution in collaboration with global and local stakeholders. The Solution Specialist, Contracts and PM will lead the technical execution of the US PM process and collaborate on the development of the technical solutions within Hiab systems.

Key accountabilities:

• Collaborate in the developments of contract (maintenance and digital offerings) and PM solution with the Global Solution coordinators and local SAP Solution coordinator by providing local requirements, supporting testing and coordinating the local implementation
• Support the local development roadmap and the implementation timeline
• Coordinate the local solution support material creation (training, process map, data model)
• Develop and adapt processes and solutions based on customer expectations, master data, financial solution, end user competences
• Secure the tight connection between the core solution (in SAP/FSM) and the systems & tools used in Hiab Services system landscape (Salesforce CRM, Quotewerks, reporting platforms, future CPQ system)
• Support converting business requirements and business process into system specifications and system process through collaboration with local and global stakeholders
• Coordinate the implementation of the new developed solutions and processes in the market
• Support the end users on the solution and process matters ensuring the link with system solution owners
• Support the preventive maintenance solution and process for the service contracts execution
• Monitoring the automated solutions and processes, ownership of master data required for the contract and PM solution
• Serve as backup to Contract Coordinator for daily contract tasks and responsibilities

• Support of end users with systems and processes

What you’ll need to succeed:

Education:

• Bachelor degree in business administration/mechanical engineering/industrial management/computer science/information technology or equivalent work experience

Experience:

• Experience in agile development ways of working
• At least 3 years of experience in service business or heavy machinery industry
• Experience with service contracts business
• Project management / software development process
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP

Competencies:

• IT skills, including service contracts solution in SAP ERP
• Ability to bring together different stakeholders and funnel ‘local’ business requirements in global solution framework
• Holistic and sustainable view on systems
