Job Description
- ct as the world wide master scheduler for CS and Jet Aviation. Provide leadership to the world wide scheduling team. Ensuring team members are trained and motivated .
- In partnership with CS and Jet Aviation leadership, manage world wide service center capacity, optimizing the scheduling of over 2700 customer aircraft and over 10000 individual customer visits into CS and Jet Aviation service centers ensuring appropriate balance of work between all locations .
- Provide world class scheduling leadership to the Aircraft Operation Center and Maintenance Control Center (MCC) ensuring customer needs are efficiently and expediently achieved. Provide 24 X 7 support .
- Partner with world wide sales to ensure efficient entry of customer request for service into the scheduling system .
- Lead the preparation of loading and work scope reports (daily, weekly, monthly) that allow Sales, Operations, and Support Organizations around the world to manage their respective businesses .
- Create and maintain manpower loading schedules to support MCC and AOG operations as well as to assist in the sequencing of customer aircraft .
- Create and maintain policies and procedures that outline scheduling processes and best practices .
- Set yearly goals for the scheduling group and coordinate goals with all facilities. Monitor performance to ensure the accomplishments of the goals .
- Coordinate with site GM/Director to ensure a positive business rapport between the Customer Support sales operations department and internal support groups. Direct administration and support efforts for the worldwide Customer Support sales and operational teams to ensure effective and timely customer response .
- Represent Gulfstream with external customers regarding scheduling and sales opportunities, soliciting formal and informal feedback to apply to improvement activities .
- Coordinate closely with all site management to represent the scheduling department in a professional manner and in collaboration with other departments to improve overall business teamwork and cooperation .
- Knowledge of FAA regulations is required.
- Must be familiar with foreign cert requirements.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have demonstrated leadership ability and possess strong communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to be creative and resourceful in dealing with constant varying requirements/situations.
