Attention all Restaurant/Senior Living Professionals …Come join and serve seniors at Calaroga Terrace The facility is right next to the Moda Center at the tall 17 story high rise building.

We are currently looking for skilled and friendly servers who are dedicated and passionate about serving upscale fresh foods and beverages at a Senior Assisted and Independent living facility in downtown Portland, Oregon.

The job consist of serving nutritious fresh made daily soups, breakfast, salads, veggies, fruits, sandwiches, roasts, seafood, pastas for guests, families, events and team members.

Daily/weekly Responsibilities:

Operate service equipment safely as trained. (toasters, Ice Machines, Juice Machines, Soup Wells)

Keep area tidy and sanitized.

Properly store and date label all foods in your area.

Serve ala carte items and buffet items as needed.

Come to work looking like a professional every day.

Take orders as assigned by the Kitchen leadership and learn to work independently when fully trained.

Experience needed:

Some server experience at either a Hotel, restaurant, hospital, Catering company, Care facility or school food program.

Must be able to demonstrate proper food handling procedures and kitchen sanitation procedures.

Must be able to get along well with others working in a team environment.

Must be able to problem solve and have the ability to keep calm in stressful conditions and professionally communicate with seniors.

Scheduling needs:

Must be flexible in your availability of scheduled shifts. Weekend and nights are required.

No Late nights cleaning the kitchen here!!

Wages:

Servers start at $13.25 per hour. This job starts as a on call job and will probably lead to more hours as the Virus declines.
