The Sheraton Park City is looking for a server to join our morning team in our restaurant, Timbers. Would prefer at least one year of serving experience. Must have Food Handler's cards. This position is part-time, seasonal. $5 hour + tips. Looking for individuals who are friendly, outgoing, have a passion for service, and are willing to be a part of our hotel team.

OVERVIEW

The servers are responsible for taking breakfast orders and providing our guests with excellent customer service in our Restaurant Timbers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner.
• Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation.
• Write order on check or memorize order.
• Relay order to kitchen and service bar.
• Observe guests to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed for guest checkout.
• Total bill and accept payment or refer guest to cashier.
• Attend to the buffet and brew coffee.
• Clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course.
• Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
• Use proper etiquette guidelines for seating guests.
• Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
• Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
• Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Ability to accurately use various office software.
• Side work duties at the end of the shift.
• Any other duties as assigned by the manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 1 year of serving experience.
• Must have (or get) Food Handler's card.
