Full-Time positions: Monday - Friday with Occasional Weekends

Sign-on Bonus for Youth Service Provider Positions!
These positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus based on number of hours worked and will be disbursed over the course of 1 year, 50% after the first 6 months and the remaining 50% 6 months later. New hires and rehires are eligible for this sign-on bonus.

$5,000 35–40 hours/week
$3,000 21–34 hours/week
$1,500 10–20 hours/week
$500 5–9 hours/week
None Below 5 hours/week

Nature of Work:
The Senior Youth Service Providers provide community-based services to children and families who may have difficulty engaging in formal office settings, but can benefit from home and/or community based rehabilitative services. The Senior YSP will provide a variety of activities that are designed to restore, rehabilitate, and support a child’s/youth’s developmentally appropriate functioning as necessary for the integration of the child/youth as an active and productive member of their family and community. Activities are “hands on” and task oriented.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of agency policies and procedures, as well as Managed Care and Department of Health regulations and practices is a must. Knowledge of computer systems and applications is necessary to perform the duties of the position. Skills in gathering, interpreting, and reporting information. Skill in written and verbal communication. Skill in developing and implementing program policies and procedures. Skills that will make positive changes for families. Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving and decision making. Ability to make work plans and follow through on those plans independently. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions that are strengths based. Ability to deliver services in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner. Ability to work effectively with administrative staff, management staff, direct staff, consumers and external agencies. Ability to accept and demonstrate information/directions from the Program Director/Manger of Youth Services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field plus two years of applicable experience in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid/clean driver’s license and dependable vehicle, and provide transportation utilizing your own vehicle as required.
• Must clear the State Central Registry Clearance, Staff Exclusion List Clearance and OMH Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
