About the role
As a Senior Technical Product Manager focused on Kyte’s Core Services and Algorithms team, you will own the vision and delivery of Kyte’s next generation of proprietary technology and backend services. You will work with the Engineering, Supply, Finance, and Operations teams to develop our proprietary core services, defined as a set of stable, reliable, and versioned algorithms provided as backend API endpoints that allow us to iterate on various product verticals over time.
What You’ll Do
- Be a hands-on presence in Kyte’s operational markets, developing a deep understanding of how our business functions
- Lead product discovery and delivery within the Core Services and Algorithms team
- Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions clearly across a wide spectrum of audiences from internal customers to executives
- Synthesize technical and analytical insights into PRDs and requirements that provide partners with a clear understanding of what to do and why
- Increase Kyte marketplace efficiency by optimizing user pricing and surfer pricing algorithms based on demand and supply on both ends
- Create models for real-time revenue predictions and use them for dynamic pricing to maximize overall revenue
- Increase vehicle valuation forecasting and use these insights to determine the optimal time to infleet/defleet cars
- Decrease fraud and risk on our platform as well as damage to our vehicles by advancing the verification algorithm for US and international drivers
- Own the vision and execution of advanced matching algorithms, so that deliveries are dispatched and returned from the right lot at the right time to balance the fleet and forecast booking demand
Required
- Minimum 5+ years of product management experience
- Experience formulating and driving a principled product vision, and being responsible for the narrative with leadership and key team members
- Experience leading product development from nothing to first release and beyond
- Led scrum or agile teams in parallel at a fast-growing tech company
- BS/MS degree
Preferred
- A track record of developing products as a founder or operator
- Prior experience in an Engineering role for 2+ years
- Experience developing algorithms or AI-related products
- Advanced degree or education in machine learning, computer vision, or geo-spatial subjects
