Senior Supervisor, Quality Control

The Senior Supervisor, Quality Control role is directly responsible for organizing, directing and evaluating the routine activities of the Environmental Monitoring and Microbiology laboratories to ensure the safety and reliability of products produced in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time salaried position; 4x10 first shift, Monday - Thursday.

The Role:

• Provides support and oversight to microbiology and environmental testing laboratory teams

• Maintains GMP compliance as related to the laboratories, equipment and staff.

• Ensures staff are appropriately trained to execute QC test methods and practice all GMP related procedures.

• Lead investigations and improvement projects related to the QC laboratory and critical utility systems as well as identifying and implementing corrective actions.

• Lead or set direction for change controls and qualification projects

• Ensure that product testing is performed to meet target product disposition timelines

• Coordinates work with other departments for up to two months in advance.

• Will have a customer and auditor facing role

The Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Two years laboratory experience

• 5 years GMP experience

• 1-3 years management experience

• Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
