Your Role at Baxter

The research we do and the products we develop improve outcomes for patients around the world. As a Senior Software Test Engineer at Baxter, your work contributes directly to making a significant impact on others. It's ambitious work—and you're not on your own. Your Team

Scientists and engineers in R&D work together to develop, test, and launch products that enhance patient care. What you will be doing:

• Read and analyze requirements and technical designs to provide feedback and understand product needs.
• Lead the organization and writing of detailed comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Manage test activities.
• Perform ad hoc testing of Baxter medical devices and applications.
• Work with R&D engineers to communicate anomalies/issues.
• Follow established quality processes and procedures.
• Provide regular status updates on verification activity progress.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver high quality products.

What you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in relevant Engineering discipline accompanied by three to five years of work experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of basic computer network terminology and components.
• Good technical oral and written communications skills
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, including some days per week in our Skaneateles, NY office.
• Experience in the Medical Device or a similar regulated industry is preferred.
• Any programming experience is a plus.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $60,000 to $132,000 plus an annual incentive bonus, commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
