Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified
• At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development with experience in the SPM module and at least 1 other suite of products (ITOM, ITAM, ITSM, CSM, etc)
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Analyze, evaluate and propose application changes to business sponsors and application end users

Job Summary

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer you'll be responsible for configuring software functions and activities for web-based, internally hosted applications. You'll serve as a mentor to other application developers, and have a deep knowledge base for your assigned system, ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovative solutions on the platform within the SPM module
• Responsible for development, core configuration, and technical expertise of Rocket Mortgage Technology's ServiceNow implementation
• Develop custom Service portal pages/widgets to support our organization
• Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Lead ServiceNow maintenance, upgrade planning, and administration
• Be a lead contributor on how ServiceNow can be used to integrate to new and existing technologies
• Analyze and adhere to technical development requirements within the SPM module
• Estimating development efforts for requirements
• Drive process, optimization, efficiencies and productivity using automation within the SPM module
• Engage with the Architect and Team Leads to produce high level and detailed design of requirements
• Understand the details of each managed system and educate end users on best practices
• Mentor and coach other team members
