We are seeking a Senior Real Estate Transaction Manager to serve as a liaison with assigned client agencies, providing direction in developing and achieving strategic goals for acquisition, use and disposal of real property. This position helps ensure that client agencies receive timely real estate services and are provided the facilities they need at the most economical cost.

We are seeking a Senior Real Estate Transaction Manager to serve as a liaison with assigned client agencies, providing direction in developing and achieving strategic goals for acquisition, use and disposal of real property. This position helps ensure that client agencies receive timely real estate services and are provided the facilities they need at the most economical cost.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience negotiating and managing complex commercial real estate transactions from start to finish from either the tenant or landlord perspective (or both) including researching, analyzing, reviewing, drafting documents, and managing construction projects.
- Experience managing a commercial lease portfolio.
- Experience researching, examining, commenting, and drafting commercial real estate documents including: leases, license agreements, amendments, letters, and other documents supporting the lease of commercial real estate.
- Experience performing commercial lease oriented financial analyze.
- Solid analytical and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Strong customer service skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to act decisively and accurately in advising and assisting clients and agencies.
- Skilled in the use of PC’s, MS Office products and the ability to utilize real estate database management software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Real Estate or related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Knowledge of laws, policies and guidelines governing conduct of real estate transactions by departments, agencies and institutions of the Commonwealth of Virginia is preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.

The selected candidate must pass a criminal background and DMV check.
