Duties and Responsibilities

Climate Vault is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our engineering team for the new initiatives to help companies to

achieve carbon neutrality with the least overhead. As one of the early members, you will be able to shape the culture,

processes and technical foundations of the team.

Responsibilities:

The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

• Design test plan according to the product requirements to ensure test coverage

• Implement automated tests to ensure the test efficiency.

• Choose appropriate technologies for automated testing and automate vs manual testing ratio (if needed).

• Continuously track and analyze quality problems while constantly improving the quality of the system.

• Build and maintain status reports to highlight the state of releases, testing projects, impacts/concerns, etc.

• Work closely with the rest of the product and engineering team to build a quality culture, processes and

tools.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of work experience in quantity assurance

• 3+ years of work experience in designing and writing automated tests in the high tech sector.

• Familiar with at least one programming language (for example, Python, Java, Go).

• Familiar with server-side automation testing and UI-automation testing, server-side performance testing.

• Familiar with Agile development process and ticketing system (such as Jira).

• Experienced in quality assurance methodology and have certain understanding of CI/CD.

• Advocate for quality, be the voice of the internal/external customer.

• Passionate, self-motivated and can demonstrate excellent teamwork skills.

• Self-driven at discovering, analyzing, summarizing problems, and loving learning new things to promote

continuous improvement of projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to easily communicate technical topics with both engineers and non-technical people alike

• Knowledge and experience working with Selenium Webdriver

• Experience with product analytics platforms (amplitude, pendo, etc.)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
