Summary:
Provides direction and project management to ensure project completion in accordance with contractual obligations. Defines project goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of customer objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. Plans, organizes, manages, and controls projects with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Worley. Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders.

Duties/Responsiblities:

• Typically manages a single mega project or multiple, complex projects/programs, with high risk.
• Ability to visualize and design new concepts and ideas related to technical/functional projects.
• Broad knowledge of business operations and ability to implement and sometimes lead organizational change effectively within project scope.
• Solutions are derived from interpreted and applied general information and consultation with other individuals.
• Typically manages work directly through project leads or other project managers.
• Often serve as a proposal manager for large and mega projects.
• Makes independent decisions and recommendations in the course of managing a significant size project.
• Develops and oversees implementation of strategic programs and policies for their groups, which will have impact on the overall organization.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects through others.
• Works frequently with executive management on significant matters influencing the organization’s business results, which typically include global strategies.
• Leads large cross‐functional internal and external project teams and potentially subcontractors or other PMs.
• Oversees, motivates and monitors the performance of the team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses any performance gaps.
• Create strong collaborative team environment by establishing common vision, setting clear expectations and accountability
• Provides leadership to third‐party team members
• Understands commercial and legal risks in the contract, prepares and manages mitigation plans.
• Identifies risks in all aspects of the project including EPC, labor, legal, political and security
• Develops risk mitigation, contingency and resolution plans.
• Keeps detailed risk register that stays current and is tracked & communicated on a regular basis (at least monthly).
• Keeps project contingencies aligned with the risk register.
• Has coordinated the preparation of an integrated set of project execution plans for mega projects or complex projects (i.e., engineering, HSE, Quality, procurement, project controls, estimating, construction, etc.)
• Manages execution, coordination, and implements regular reviews/controls to track project progress.
• Comprehensive understanding of Project Control Reports, indentifies problem areas and implements recovery plans.
• Interprets and understands all of the key elements of the project schedule to identify adverse trends and take correction action.
• Applies forward planning with schedule to resource the project appropriately.
• Has successfully managed the application of appropriate coordination, reviews and follow ups across the project.
• Application of Advanced Work Packaging for planning and delivery
• Experienced in successful workshare execution
  

• University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 20+ years experience, Typically 20+ years of relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.
• Scrum training/certification is preferred
• Saudi Aramco experience required
• WorkshareEPCM, EPC including site assignmentsMulti-Cultural / Multi-National environments
• Professional registration in local juridicationCertified Program Management Professional by a globally recognized project management organization (IPMA, APM, PMI, AIPM)
• Demonstrated PD experience leading large and mega projects with high riskComplex commercial engagements for project delivery including joint ventures
