In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the success of initiatives within the Data Engineering, Business Intelligence and Analytics departments. The position requires anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management and building consensus by understanding stakeholder needs with an eye toward leveraging existing tools. You will help identify, prioritize and advocate for the best tools, in addition to creating efficiency opportunities from ideation to launch. The ideal candidate has advanced engineering and design skills, in addition to more traditional product and project management skillsets, such as understanding business requirements, managing changes, removing roadblocks and communicating with groups at various levels. A day in the office looks like this:
- Working closely with Engineering and Design teams on product features and capabilities
- Managing the product vision in tandem with the VP and Director of Data Engineering
- Collaborating with the IT team and Technical Project Managers to create roadmaps
- Assessing, planning and mitigating risks and cross-departmental dependencies
- Acting as team leader for efforts involving IT business tools
- Translating customer needs into project requirements
- Researching technical trends across the industry
- Conducting regular capability analysis of competitors
- Providing internal and customer training on using products
- Analyzing data pipelines, algorithms and automated systems
- Coordinating A/B or beta tests when needed
- Defining success criteria for resting and product acceptance
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 10-15 years of experience managing eCommerce, Retail, Infrastructure and/or Warehouse/Distribution projects
- 10+ years of process development or process redesign experience
- Experience presenting at the executive leadership level
- Exceptional communication skills between Engineering and Business departments, including a strong acumen for understanding tech trends and how they affect business tool roadmaps
- Excellent project leadership and critical-thinking skills
- Strong system and process knowledge in Infrastructure (Network, Sys Admin, Service Desk) as well as SRE, DevOps, Security, Business Applications, Telecomm and Distribution & Support
- Knowledge of eCommerce (mobile and web), Retail (physical stores) and Warehouse/Distribution field operations
- Ability to influence teams to action and drive toward company goals
- Desire to continually improve and move up in the organization; open to feedback for growth

- Salary: $110,000-$130,000 with an annual bonus of up to 15%
