Senior Program Manager Job at Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, Ltd.
Impact, Innovation and Growth with Work-site Flexibility.
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to join our Solutions Innovation Group (SIG). SIG was founded on the premise that entrepreneurially-minded business and engineering teams can deliver high-quality, innovation solutions by working closely with the defense and intelligence personnel but doing so outside of the traditional government process. This novel approach allows us to deliver high-impact prototypes and field-ready solutions to the warfighter faster and more affordably.
The ideal candidate MUST work remotely in the Greater Boston Area but able to support on-site visits and working sessions in the Greater Boston and Washington D.C. areas as needed.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Program Manager, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with our government customer and internal software, systems and network engineering team to develop and deploy innovative cross-domain, multi-level security solutions. Deployment environments include both tactical and enterprise-scale systems to include a first-of-its-kind, hyper-realistic, simulation and training environment.
Each day begins with a team-wide, virtual scrum call to sync on each individuals’ tasks completed, accomplishments, challenges and next steps. This is our opportunity to connect “in-person” as a group but one-on-one and team collaboration continues, primarily using Slack and JIRA task boards. When significant features and functions are completed each team member has an opportunity to share their work with the team. This scrum is led by our Director of Engineering whom you will work closely with to oversee and track progress of the work. While you will not lead the engineering team day-to-day, it’s expected that you will be generally familiar with the design, development and deployment of software on behalf of the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will report to the Executive Director with exposure to senior customer, program and executive leadership teams with an opportunity to substantially influence corporate, division and customer strategy and approach to our work.
While initial focus will be on our cross-domain program, you could expect to make your mark on not just one but many programs and technologies. Opportunities exist to move around our portfolio of interesting customers, programs, technologies and team members.
For example,
Our LINX Intelligence/Operations Collaboration Suite will truly revolutionize the way airborne surveillance reconnaissance and intelligence (A-ISR) it planned, managed and executed – dramatically improving the operational and intelligence collection performance of and reducing the workload of having a direct impact on thousands of soldiers and airmen every day.
Our Flexible Cross Domain (FXD) technologies will result in much-needed, first if its kind, multi-intelligence cross-domain security solution supporting seamless, bi-directional streaming of classified data between security enclaves. A truly revolutionary solution and industry first for both tactical and enterprise deployments.
Our SilentShield cellular network exploitation application is a strictly enforced, limited-availability technology aimed at identifying, tracking, preventing and prosecuting individuals involved in national security-level threats and incidents.
Our Multi-INT Command & Control (MIC2) application delivers an all-domain situational awareness capability with over-the-network, real-time, command and control of tactical platforms, payloads and sensors from virtually anywhere across the globe.
