Us

Seed Health is a microbiome science company pioneering innovations in probiotics and living medicines to impact human and planetary health. Our scientific board comprises leading scientists, researchers, and clinicians across the fields of microbiology, immunology, bioinformatics, dermatology, oral health, vaginal health, gastroenterology, mental health, pediatrics, and nutrition.

Consumer innovations are commercialized under Seed® with a mission to bring much-needed precision, efficacy, education and perspective-shifting science communication to the global category of probiotics. Our efforts to set a new standard in probiotics, microbial innovation and translational communication have earned various accolades, including Fast Company's World Changing Ideas in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, and TIME's Best Inventions 2018.

We focus on categories where microbial innovations and microbiome-related products will disrupt and capture global market share in the coming years (e.g. oral care, skin care, infant health, etc.). We have built a strong foundation with breakthrough research and strong intellectual property, and believe there is a substantial opportunity to emerge as an innovative product line, backed by the most rigorous science.

In less than 4 years in DTC, we've built a flagship probiotic that rivals the legacy top two omni-channel brands in all of probiotics globally. We have also built an extraordinary pipeline across multiple categories and needs with breakthrough microbiome science.

You will work on a cross-functional team that will help Seed execute, with precision and innovation, a world-class customer subscription experience that reflects the rigor of our science, intentionality of our brand, and the human-centric ethos of our company, especially as it relates to the accountability of health. You have a scientific outlook and believe in the power of understanding user needs through quantitative and qualitative data and experimentation. You excel at understanding subscription dynamics, and will make this part of the DNA that underlies everything you do. You obsess over data, insights, new trends, technologies and the kind of gut instincts that come from experience and deep knowledge of our brand.

What you'll do

  • Gather data and insights to better understand our members and inform future experiences that improve retention and increase customer value
  • Understand business goals & evaluate opportunities for products that can support the business in effectively achieving those goals
  • Strategize and plan for how we will innovate, iterate and improve Seed's membership experience as we continue to expand our member base and product offerings
  • Own the product development process, ensuring that products are effectively brought from concept to development
  • Own product evaluation, using metrics and qualitative feedback to analyze success of product launches
  • Collaborate on campaigns in partnership with Brand and CRM
  • Bring a technical perspective around working via discovery, prototyping, validation, and iteration

Who you are

  • You have 4-6+ years of experience scaling membership experiences in collaboration with engineering, product, care, brand and internal stakeholders, ideally for a consumer subscription product
  • Bonus if you have built an ecommerce, international, or subscription experience with significant scale from <10MM to 250MM+
  • You're data driven––you use data to make decisions and when you don't have data, you search for anecdotal and qualitative information to gain insights
  • You always ask why and are obsessive about understanding and creatively meeting the user needs
  • You love the creative challenge of stitching together product requirements, design, resource constraints, and timing
  • You constantly think about the best way to get an MVP into the user's hands and find a pathway to iterate, improve and deliver more value
  • You have a proven track record of setting a plan and managing to it, especially in fast-paced, agile environments
  • You're familiar with data technologies including SQL, Tableau, Looker, Segment, Amplitude, or similar
  • You have strong project management skills, and you're able to work on multiple projects at the same time and meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • You have demonstrated the ability to manage stakeholder interests and prioritize requirements that drive the highest impact and value
