We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Marketing Manager - Media (B2B media marketer) to lead and manage the outbound marketing strategy for our portfolio of trusted IT media sites. The Senior Media Marketing Manager’s mission will be to drive the development and execution of strategies and campaigns that boost brand awareness, digital engagement, and conversion with targeted audiences.
This role will lead the development and messaging of the brand narrative for our media brands in close collaboration with the editorial teams. The Senior Media Marketing Manager will lead initiatives across content marketing, social, SEO, PR, partnerships, alliances, and events to attract, reach and retain audiences and clients. The individual will partner with cross-functional teams to expand our digital footprint and business.
The ideal candidate is a self-starting, KPI-driven leader with a blend of a strategic mindset and strong execution, is a good relationship builder to gain management buy-in of brand and marketing strategies, and can make sound, data-driven decisions to move projects efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute brand marketing strategies and narratives driven by audience and customer insight
- Define and manage audience development initiatives to increase brand awareness and credibility
- Increase quality site traffic, grow audience engagement and retention, and drive conversions
- Build, manage, and measure campaigns across owned and paid channels (SEM, email, social, PR, display advertising, etc.) from the top of funnel to the bottom of the lead funnel. Run A/B testing as appropriate to optimize results.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to optimize websites for search, improve the user journey, and drive conversion through compelling content marketing strategies
- Create marketing assets across formats that educate and engage audiences (videos, presentations, infographics, PDFs, interactive landing pages, etc.)
- Identify and develop external opportunities to help grow our digital footprint and business, including barters, partnerships, alliances, participation at industry events, etc.
- Track and report on business-critical KPIs (volume, retention, conversion) as well as overall performance and ROI using various data sources, including Google Analytics, Eloqua, etc.
- Partner with product development to research/recommend/implement new products, improve user experience, drive revenue, etc.
- Ensure brands are represented accurately across the organization
- Stays up-to-date on competitive threats, and marketing trends
- Proactively communicate updates and KPIs to various stakeholders
- 8+ years in media or marketing communications in B2B
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies, timelines, and initiatives
- Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to successfully manage multiple projects through to completion to accelerate the business
- Data-driven, budget-conscious, creative problem solver, relationship builder, proactive
- Strong copywriting and verbal communication skills
- Experience working collaboratively with teams across the organization
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and campaign analysis
- Skilled at SEO, content-rich strategies, and organic social
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing strategic, tactical, and analytical responsibilities.
- High comfort level with technology and web-based applications such as Eloqua, Google Analytics, Sprout, and content management systems
- BA or above in Marketing and/or Business
- The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
