Senior Manager, IT Business Solutions

BUSINESS: CIRCOR Headquarters
LOCATION: Monroe, NC
DIRECT REPORTING: Director IT Business Solutions

POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

Takes responsibility for managing the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance, and effective use of business solutions technology services.

Leads the delivery of services, ensuring that agreed service levels, security requirements and other quality standards are met. Ensures adherence to relevant policies and procedures.

Ensures that processes and practices are aligned across teams and providers to operate effectively and efficiently.

Monitors the performance of technology services. Provides appropriate status and other reports to managers and senior users.

Principal Activities

• Provide structured leadership to the regional IT organization
• Provide strategic and tactical leadership, strategic thinking, contribution to business needs
• Actively manage the execution of IT KPIs (systems uptime, downtime measurements, deliveries, etc.)
• Provider of recommendations to better business processes through IT solutions
• Proactive and forward thinking towards the business objectives
• Assist with departmental reporting, budget planning and tracking
• Business Solution project management, planning and execution
• Adherence and upholding of corporate IT standards and policies
• Documentation and maintenance of regulatory compliance (i.e. SOX related matters)

Oversight of regional IT team, liaising with global IT management in providing the following:

• Prioritization of IT requests and recommendations towards suitable solutions
• All IFS application maintenance, incident management, user and business requests and coordination of 3rd party efforts
• All end user support
• Complies with all company policies/procedures
• Moderate travel is required as it relates to customer and intercompany
• IT vendor, external business partners and 3rd party coordination

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Previous experience supporting and maintaining and ERP application in a manufacturing assembly environment
• Ability to support production needs and identify improvements in production operations and effectively communicate both opportunities and solutions
• Ability to work with others to accomplish common goals and make the business successful.
• Displays flexibility in approach to work scope and daily activities to ensure the site and company meet production and financial goals
• Ability to select and utilize the correct procedure for a specific requirement
• Ability to read and interpret documents, procedures and instructions satisfactorily to successfully perform assigned duties in a safe manner
• Ability to effectively communicate with other employees on a variety of topics
• Ability to deal with problems through creative solutions
• Education & Experience
• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related technical/management field or experience considered
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive ERP/manufacturing experience preferred. 3 to 5 years of that performing in a supervisory role within the IT department. Has worked in a decentralized manufacturing environment, has strong communication skills
• Optional practical IFS ERP experience and ERP implementation experience.
