As the Senior Lubricant Sales Representative you will be responsible for the launch of a new brand within Vertex Energy, Inc for the North/East Texas market. The person in this position will perform a full range of duties related to developing and supporting the growth of finish lubricants, industrial lubricants, coolants, and antifreeze. We are looking for an individual who is extremely motivated and a self-starter that must have previous experience in the sale of Lubricant products. There is an office and warehouse space located in Carrollton, Texas for business use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLILITES:

Sales

• Build positive relationships with new and existing finish lubricants, industrial lubricants, coolant and antifreeze account custom
• Actively solicit new accounts (~15-30 outside cold calls/day)
• Qualify prospective customers
• Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas
• Analyze and provide competitive price quotes for purchase of finish lubricants and industrial lubricants/coolants
• Occasional oil sampling upon soliciting a new customer
• Efficiently enter sales calls in company CRM throughout the workday
• Strategically target key accounts and smaller to mid-size accounts in specific territory

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in finish lubricant/industrial lubricant field

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• The selected candidate will be professional, accurate, dependable, and have strong interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents
• Must be able to communicate well – verbal, written, and electronic correspondence
• Must have good customer service skills
• This position requires a valid Driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Must have good organization skills and be able to work independently and within a team
• Must be proficient with Microsoft applications such as: spreadsheets, word documents, and outlook
• Self-motivated and driven for success and have the ability to work independently
• Competitive
• Lubricant and coolant/antifreeze background required, with knowledge of industrial lubricant and coolants preferred

Health, Safety, and Environmental

• Must meet and adhere to all Driver Approval Standards as outlined in the company policy
• Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance through coordination with EHS
• Maintain all company property ensuring it is clean and in excellent condition
• Perform all duties in compliance with company policies and standard operating procedure
• Will be required to undergo periodic industrial safety training as required by regulating authorities and the company

Salary $70-75k
Commission $20k
Car Allowance $600/mo
