HOURS: Monday – Friday, 40 -50 hours/week
SALARY: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
LOCATION: 100% Remote from almost anywhere in the USA but must work central time zone hours.

In 2021, OL USA invested in TZL, a truck broker offering LTL & FTL services. This partnership has seen tremendous growth resulting in our need to hire a Senior Logistics Capacity Planner to support our truck brokerage. This position will be the responsible owner of account operations including, but not limited to, load acceptance, appointment setting, coverage coordination, etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quote rates for LTL, FTL, Intermodal or Drayage and Final Mile domestic shipments
• Match Capacity with loads within the rate levels quoted Match using the DAT Board
• Vendor onboarding and vendor recruitment including review of compliance requirements
• Act as the front-line resource to provide customer service on the assigned account(s)
• Support sales team and company clients covering loads for new business and existing business
• Ensure the client experience meets the standards and expectations set forth by the company
• Quick turn-around on load matching and booking cargo
• Scheduling pick-up appointments, following up on scheduled loads, and confirming POD and completion of shipment
• Project cargo management, quoting and movement
• Supplying the inside team with cost and sell rates for loads quoted and booked
• Vendor procurement and onboarding new vendors into the system
• Manage and stay organized through a large volume of daily email and phone requests from internal and external customers.
• Consistently show accountability through meeting and exceeding account-based targets.
• Attend monthly review meetings with management on updating market conditions and vendor information
• Completes required training.
• Perform other related duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of high-volume domestic operations experience including ocean and air freight shipment pick-ups.
• Experience working with providers, carriers, and clients in a transportation/logistics environment
• LTL specific experience with airport and CFS pick-ups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle complex customer interactions via telephone and video conferencing
• An active listener with the ability to understand and interpret customer needs
• Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented focus
• Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
