The Global Senior Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organizations research, development, and product implementation efforts.

The role is currently divided into 3 parts:

• Main project manager for product transfer project moving product from China to Katy. The role means to coordinate all the workstreams (Sourcing, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Engineering, etc.) of the total transfer project.
• Sub Project Manager for the industrialization of 2 product development projects.
• Establish, for above products, a common production setup in Katy, TX.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages complex projects from planning through delivery.
• Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
• Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders.
• Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.
• Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
• Monitors task completion status to Identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans.
• Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary.
• Program Management Staged Gate knowledge with ability to analyze ROI payback calculations with Finance leadership.
• Excellent communicator and able to author / present clear messages to leadership at Toll Gate presentations.
• Well skilled in managing and relaying technical subjects (tooling, polyurethane foam, cooler knowledge, mechanical compressor AC chilling knowledge a plus)

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degrees in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum five years in leading complex and long-term projects.
• 5-10 years of Manufacturing experience
• Work environment: 50% Office/Administrative and 50% Manufacturing environment.
• Travel Requirement: This roll will be 30% travel to locations such as Mexico, China and other countries as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

Responsibility Metrics:

• Track and measure all productivity, process adherence and other metrics deemed necessary by the Vice President of Operations, Dometic Group.
