THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

• Experience with Python to build backend API’s, data models and microservices

• Google Cloud experience, using Memstore, Redis with strong command over multi process stores

• Production level development experience building Full Stack web applications using Python based microservices on the backend and React based frontend

• Experience collaborating with stakeholders such as product managers, designers and QA engineers

• Education in Computer Science, Engineering or training in a related field

• Comfortable with using tools like Slack, Github and Atlassian/Confluence

The engineers are responsible for building and scaling the experiences powered by the Python based Fast API’s on the backend with microservices running on GCP and light weight Frontend with React. How your work will support their growth:

• Build applications experience that drive simple and intuitive experiences

• Partner with product managers and designers on evaluating the user experience and its backend implementation possibilities

• Partner with other engineers to define the technical roadmap for the team

• Scope, develop, test and support engineering needs of our product initiatives

• Advocate for better software development tools, practices to help build a transparent engineering culture

• Participate in in scrum activities to plan, develop and release working software

• Mentor other engineers, helping them pick up strong software engineering practices.
