Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst role will work and train directly under the CFO and will be responsible for providing financial support and analytics to all parts of the organization. The position will play a key role in our pricing process by assessing trends, performing analytics, and providing recommendations. In addition, the position will assist with monthly reporting and analytics as well as monthly and annual forecasting/planning. Overall, this position will interact with all parts of the organization and is expected to have a significant impact by identifying issues, assisting in execution, and measuring our margin improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement processes to turn data into answers, specifically related to pricing of items
  • Perform daily analytics to identify pricing issues and partner with appropriate colleagues to initiate changes
  • Prepare weekly margin reporting identifying drivers of change as well as recommending improvement opportunities
  • Provide business decision support to other functions within the organization through research and/or financial modeling
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reviews to include variance analysis to budget and forecast
  • Lead the monthly/quarterly forecasting process
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of the annual budget process
  • Identify opportunities to create reporting or analytical efficiencies through the use of technology
  • Other ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or relevant business experience required
  • Forecasting and budgeting experience required
  • Proficiency in large ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) as well as high proficiency in Excel
  • Superior analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Agile and able to thrive in fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to professionally communicate
  • Display enthusiasm, adaptability and see challenges as opportunities to grow

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
