Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establishes and maintains the life cycle of controlled documents, including creating and executing validation requirements.
  • Confers with various departments, executives, and vendors to determine processes, procedures, and business needs for documentation.
  • Evaluates site policies, operating procedures, instructions, and forms for format consistency.
  • Reviews submissions for accuracy and completeness to ensure all documents are valid.
  • Maintains the flow of controlled documents through SharePoint.
  • Assigns user access in order to ensure document security.
  • Performs system maintenance and troubleshoots issues as necessary.
  • Attends continuing education and training opportunities in order to explore latest technologies, make recommendations for improvements, and implement new strategies.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships.
  • Receives and carries out instructions.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.Governs document quality, including routing, reviewing, distributing, approving, and releasing documents, in order to ensure consistent administration of the Company’s SharePoint platform.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree; or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Performs work requiring advanced knowledge while consistently exercising discretion and judgment.
  • Communicates effectively.
  • Solves problems and makes decisions independently.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership.
  • Manages multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Uses computers and software programs proficiently, including SharePoint, AS400, and transportation industry-related software.
  • Exhibits ability to read, write, talk and hear; add, subtract, multiply and divide; and lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
