We are looking for Senior Digital Marketing Manager to work with our ecommerce team in Los Angeles and clients in Japan. Candidate must be able to attend meetings scheduled in the late afternoon/evening with clients. The interview process includes a completion of a mock marketing proposal. Our digital marketing and ecommerce team is located in Los Angeles, CA. 9am - 6pm PST, Mon - Fri. This position may be remote; however, candidates must be able to attend internal meetings as well as client meetings scheduled in the evenings.
Position Summary
Transcosmos is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to take our digital marketing department to the next level. We are looking for a strong digital talent and strategic thinker that understands how search, analytics, strategy and technology fuel successful digital marketing programs. The candidate should have an entrepreneur mindset who is interested to discover the latest DM trends in the market and experiment with them. The candidate will work closely with the Project Managers. The role is collaborative, hands-on and client facing.
Primary Responsibilities
External
- Collaborate with our clients or leadership to determine the goals of advertising projects and strategizing plans to meet those goals.
- Improve our client's ecommerce sales performance and our client's satisfaction through advertising, analysis and other digital marketing activities.
- Develop, manage and execute multiple media campaigns, including strategy development, organization and post campaign reporting for branded sites and marketplaces
- Building marketing strategy including brand awareness and product positioning by the US market trend and user behavior.
- Responsible for all communication between the clients of assigned projects and the company.
- Provide SEO/SEM expertise for keyword research, reporting, linking campaigns, conversation goals, on-page optimization, social media, image and video optimization, digital asset optimization and mobile search for clients.
- Execute campaigns to introduce prospective customers to new product releases and build brand awareness
- Execute strategic deliverables around paid, earned and owned media
- Consistently manage and oversee campaigns to ensure they’re engaging customers and bringing in results
- Analyzing results from each campaign to determine what was successful and what to improve for the next campaign
- Utilize existing data and insights to inform potential sales opportunities
- Understand client’s strategy, culture, and their preference
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Establish and monitor KPIs and evaluate/analyze performance by ROI, ROAS, CPA
- Familiar with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, and each media’s native dashboard
- Report performance analysis with recommendations via MS Excel and Power point. (+ build up BI dashboard with Google / Looker Studio, MS Power BI or similar)
- Understood e-commerce mechanics, business schemes, website metrics and best practices.
- Create, maintain, and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars
- Communicate and manage internal and external resources such as copywriters, graphic designers to direct ad banner, social media posting, and website materials.
- Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms a plus
- Develop a marketing execution plan including media such as the following by understanding each functionality, strength, price point, and market trend
- SEM – Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram ads
- SEO
- Social media - Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube,
- Programmatic ads, native ads
- Social Influencers
- Advertorial, product placement
- Email Marketing
Internal
- Supervise and nurture Digital Market Managers and operations staff by building a stable workflow
- Help lead the expansion of our digital marketing team through improvements in capability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Project Management teams for the development of online sales and promotion strategies.
- Oversees and monitors established financial budget of assigned accounts and ensures terms are accurately adhered to and followed.
- Provide updates to senior management relative to performance, progress against goals, and the progression of continued development in e-commerce.
- Conduct and manage day-to-day activities for all things related to Digital Marketing and SEO/SEM, including best practices, assisting with strategy plans and reporting.
Other Responsibilities
- Submits accurate information to Accounting each month for invoicing and billing.
- Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisors

Essential Requirements
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English required.
- Achieve client’s sales target and/or increase their sales by digital marketing activities.
- Collaborate with inhouse team and external vendors whose services will be needed to execute the campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required.
- 5+ years digital marketing experience, preferably in the technology sector. Agency experience is a must.
- An in-depth understanding of Search, Social, Paid/Display/Native Media, Email, Affiliate and Influencer marketing.
- Multichannel marketing project management
- Experience with digital marketing tools including or similar to: Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, Microsoft Ads, DSP, AMS, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, MailChimp, Klaviyo (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central experience a plus)
- Experience with CRO tools including or similar to the following a plus: HotJar, Optimizely, Justuno, etc.
- Experience with MS Office Excel, Google Spreadsheet and PowerPoint.
- Experience in multiple client verticals is preferred.
- Attention to detail and strong organization.
- Strong client facing presentation and communication skills.
- Experience working with Japanese companies a plus.
- Understanding consumer product marketing compliance, a plus
- May be required to travel domestically and internationally.
- Some overtime required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
