Orange Circle Studio recently merged with premium diaper bag company JuJuBe International. JuJuBe is seeking a seasoned Senior Diaper Bag & Handbag Designer/Product Developer to join our creative team. As the Senior Diaper Bag & Handbag Designer/Product Developer, you will play a critical role in developing new products. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong organization skills, and a high level of commitment. Responsibilities

• Lead the creative and technical development of diaper bags, handbags, sport bags, and related accessories.
• Work directly with overseas manufacturers to produce products on time and within budget.
• Research seasonal trends, themes, color, raw materials and styling.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Ecomm, Sales, and Production to achieve product execution and maintain design integrity.
• Create drawings and tech packs for first prototypes, including measurements and construction details.
• Develop and counter source fabric and trims with production and suppliers.
• Approval of lab dips and fabric submissions.
• Overseas travel for design research and to supervise production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of bag construction and pattern making
• Elevated taste level and creative ability
• Ability to manage and mentor others
• Knowledge of leather, PU, and various types of fabrics
• Ability to conduct color/print research
• Knowledge of seasonal silhouette and color trends
• Strong illustration/presentation skills
• Proven ability to research and apply market/fashion trend information
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented, good follow through
• Strong organizational, communication and written skills
• Help in implementing new Sustainability initiatives

Skills & Education

• Highly proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel
• BA Fashion Design

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: The compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 per annum. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
