Job Title: Senior Data Analysts - Healthcare Data Science

Job Location: EMD Serono, Inc., One Technology Place, Rockland, Massachusetts 02370

Responsibilities:

• Act as the data analytics lead for EMD Serono's business unit sales groups;

• Identify next-generation business challenges and translate them to data analytics problems by continuously interacting with therapeutic area leadership;

• Pro-actively deliver innovative solutions to new problems and impactful alternative solutions to old problems;

• Deliver highly relevant insights through sound data visualization practices;

• Solve high impact business problems by quickly transforming large real-world data into actionable insights;

• Statistically test hypothesis to inform impactful customer engagement activities across multiple personal and non-personal channels; and

• Regularly communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

Employer requires at least a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field and at least one (1)

year of work experience solving analytical problems in applied math, computing, and big data analytics.

In addition, the employer requires the following:

• Demonstrated ability analyzing and extracting actionable insights from large volumes of data at scale gained through one (1) year of work experience;

• Demonstrated ability in data engineering and data analytics using SQL, Tableau, and programming languages including Python and R gained through one (1) year of work experience;

• Demonstrated ability working with engineering features and predictors as input for machine learning and AI models gained through one (1) year of work experience;

• Demonstrated knowledge of hypothesis testing, high dimensional statistical modeling, Bayesian inference, and time series analysis gained through one (1) years of work experience; and

• Demonstrated ability delivering high level analytics for different business units gained through one (1) year of work experience.
  

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.

5% domestic travel required per year.
