Job Purpose
The Customer Performance Lab supports the Customer Digital Experience and Customer Service and the Customer Billing and Collections teams with data insights on digital channels and operations for continuous improvement opportunities across process, performance, and digital portfolios in the Customer Organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for using their knowledge of data processing, requirement gathering skills in support of report development and data analysis. Their duties include collaborating with business stakeholders, CDP and other data professionals, IT to facilitate report development, data analysis, SQL scripting, validation, and Power BI report creation. Overall help support business initiatives’ reporting deliverables across Customer Process and Digital Experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop, test, evaluate, tune, and deploy predictive and machine learning models
- Coordinate end to end algorithm/model development efforts among advanced analytics team members
- Advise senior leadership about the conclusions drawn from data science projects
- Oversee and mentor advanced analytics agile team(s)
- Educate team members and IT organization and business users about data science and approaches
- Work with data engineers to acquire, extract, transform, manage and manipulate data sets for specific use cases
- Create clear documentation of workflows, process flows, and methodologies used
- Agile delivery of data collection and analytics
- Gather requirements and documentation of requirement specification / Power BI report development for data visualization
- Analytical, Investigative reasoning and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- PhD, Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years working in data modeling, statistical analysis, and relevant computing environments
- Advanced skills in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, mathematics, operations research, and/or quantitative academic research
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, PowerBI, and similar tools
- Domain knowledge in the utilities industry
- Some Travel is required for this position within the State of Mass and NY.
