Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will build relationships with John Deere dealers while managing their customers equipment financing needs. In addition, you will:
Review and analyze credit applications in all markets (Multi Use, Agricultural, Construction and Forestry).- Review Personal and Commercial Credit Reports, Financial Statement Analysis and Asset Evaluation.
- Independently make credit decisions based on established Credit Policy / Guidelines and Procedures. Escalate as required and communicate decisions to dealership network.
- Respond to and resolve incoming dealer inquiries.
- Provide guidance to dealers in optimizing the use of JDF products to facilitate equipment sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders (territory finance managers, sales/marketing, strategic credit managers)
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regional and national changes in the Agricultural and Construction & Forestry sectors.
- Participate in process improvement and/or team-oriented projects.
What Skills You Need
Two or more years of Senior Credit Analyst experience in the Equipment Financing industry, having knowledge of leasing products and services offered.- Ability to proficiently review and analyze financial statements and information to determine financial wherewithal and communicate decision.
- Ability to identify key risks and provide appropriate mitigating factors.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and intranet / internet functions.
- Self-motivated, ability to independently manage workload and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work a set shift within retail credit hours of operation (8:00am to 7pm EST).
- This is a remote “work from home” position; candidates must have an appropriate “work from home” set-up with a stable internet connection.
What Makes You Stand Out
Financial statement review experience- Knowledge of the agriculture and construction and forestry industry
- Completion of Level 1 Credit Fundamentals Certification
Education
Ideally you will have a degree in business, finance, accounting (or a related field) or equivalent related work experience.
