The position: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting corporate financial reporting and property accounting for RPM Living, LLC. This role will be responsible for the management of monthly property billings, accounts receivable month end reporting, and ad hoc reconciliations.
- Owner of accounts receivable process.
- Work with properties on lender/client funding to ensure we get ahead of funding.
- Provide weekly/monthly reporting.
- Process RPM checks bi-weekly, or as needed, and pull funds from the sites.
- Disposition property A/R and completing final checklist.
- Monitoring top 20 A/R.
- Corporate Billbacks.
- Bill back multiple line items to our 500+ properties, which results in over 10,000 billings per month.
- Recording, reconciling, and monitoring monthly inquiries through our billings ticketing system.
- Insurance accounting.
- Owner of full-service insurance accounting, including RPM’s in house captive, master insurance program, and all facets of insurance funding.
- Point of contact for our insurance department for questions on reporting, accruals, etc..
- Payroll.
- Record, reconcile, and billback functions related to RPM’s payroll.
- External invoicing.
- Consulting invoices.
- Ad hoc invoicing
- A/R process for external invoicing.
- Ad hoc monthly tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from four-year college or university; or 2-4 years’ experience in performing the essential duties listed above
- Advanced excel knowledge required
- Salesforce and Yardi experience a plus
