What you will be doing
The Senior Consultant, Data Innovation Business Development partners with-internal business units to advance Global Pharma Services’ position as the patient services and analytics partner of choice. Leveraging the power of data to measure the impact of our services on brand performance and the influence this has on how prescribers and patients gain access to therapy. The Consultant combines knowledge of industry specific manufacturer processes and our business data with comprehensive analytics experience to develop and enable data and analytics strategies that drive value for our potential and existing customers. As part of our Data innovation Consultancy, you will have the opportunity to engage in multiple aspects of the business to broaden and expand your skills and influence the new business pipeline and prioritization of data and analytic products.
Strategy:

Engage potential customers to educate to understand the value of a cohesive analytics strategy
-
Drive analytic strategy engagements, conduct customer interviews, and documentation reviews among other activities

Develop and socialize business cases and strategy documentation to include, stakeholder assessments, customer vision, best practices and recommendations, potential benefits, required investments, data needs and proposed roadmaps

Demonstrate industry and market intelligence on local, regional and national issues impacting the Pharmaceutical and Patient Access Services industry

Understand the client’s business goals well-enough to ensure the SOW will meet their needs
Product:

Partner with Analytics Product Management to represent the Voice of the Customer to define future analytic products and capabilities

Ability to articulate the product vision to prospects and customers to help them understand how the technology can enable a new analytic model for their organization

Serve as SME for program design and development to ensure data data standards are upheld
-
Anticipate customer needs, including obstacles and opportunities to influence data analytics capabilities and new product development/enhancements

Craft and present deliverables in a logical, clear and concise manner from Executive level to management within and outside the company

Leverage data to tell the story of current performance and highlight opportunities, influencing senior leaders to take action based on analytical insights

Consult with clients and internal stakeholders to help interpret our capabilities and insights to address business challenges and exploit new opportunities through data analytics.

Lead the discovery of the client’s data and analytics needs to efficiently and effectively navigate and do the analyses

Partner with our data scientists on insights, outcomes, and prescriptive solution outcomes
Revenue Growth:

Supporting sales/new business development organizations in creating new business and project opportunities, including but not limited to participating in RFPs, delivering solution demos to customers articulating the value proposition, project phases, outcomes, effort and costs

Educate and steer clients on how to effectively position Analytic products within an implementation

Create internal and customer assets in support of evangelizing and adoption of Data and Analytics products and services
What your background should look like
-
Four-year Bachelors’ degree program, preferably with an emphasis in mathematics, statistics, or data and analytics.

Ten (10) or more years’ experience with supporting business analytics.
-
Eight (8) or more years’ experience working directing directly with manufacturer customers in the Healthcare industry.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry business practices, Generic, Brand, and Specialty pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred

Familiarity with data and analytics solution development within the global pharmaceutical market
-
Experience crafting responding to RFP/SOWs
-
Preferred P&L experience operating in a consultancy to drive service or new product revenue

Must be able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines; must maintain a professional image and the confidentiality of all information
-
Demonstrated experience in preparation and delivery of presentations to corporate executives.

Organized and demonstrated experience in partnering with multiple teams and stakeholders
-
Demonstrated effectiveness in partnering with leaders while able to work independently to deliver solution.

Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to travel up to 40% as needed

- This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
