Axis Consulting is a national multidisciplinary forensic consulting firm with offices throughout California, the Pacific Northwest, the Southwest and Southeast. Axis Consulting is one of five verticals of Axis Companies available to better serve clients in our community.

Our Concord and Roseville (Northern) California offices are seeking motivated, creative, organized, and experienced General Contractors, Architects, Civil Engineers and/or Structural Engineers experienced in Construction Defect, Building Code Analysis and ADA Compliance forensic matters.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

· 5+ years of experience working on residential, commercial and government entity projects

· Experience handling pre-litigated and litigated files from inception to end as lead expert

· Experience working with insurance carrier, legal, government entity and corporate clients

· Experienced in depositions, arbitrations and/or trial

· Excellent technical skills

· Thorough knowledge of construction industry standards and building code and permitting matters in California

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Experience with on-site inspections and documentation

· Understanding of building envelope design and waterproofing systems

· An ability to collaborate with clients and staff

· Leadership skills and a desire to mentor junior staff, ideal

· Must be a Registered Architect and/or Licensed P.E. in California

· Revit/BIM/CAD experience, preferred
