Position Description
The Senior Clinical Informaticist participates in organizational committees as an expert informatics resource, providing advice and perspective on the design and development of information systems to ensure the implementation of electronic records that support and enhance patient care and support of the organization's operating plan and strategic priorities. This position will also develop and promote the overall clinical adoption strategy with Health System Leadership.
Position Requirements
Master's Degree in Nursing, Informatics, or clinical specialty area and 5 years or more of experience in Clinical Informatics or Application Support. Clinical Certification in specialty area and/or Informatics upon hire.
Preferred Requirements
6 years or more of experience in Clinical Informatics or Application Support. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Laboratory Technician state approved license.
