The Sr. Analytical Services Technician, provides critical support to the Analytical Services laboratory to enable daily lab activities. Orders and maintains supplies for the entire laboratory, supports accelerated stability studies, manages lab waste and instrument maintenance, performs data entry into LIMS and coordinates shipping services.
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
  • Orders and maintains all the necessary chemical, reagents, gases, and consumable items for the Analytical laboratory.
  • Supports accelerated stability studies, by launching studies into LIMS, inspects the suitability of samples, places samples in the appropriate chamber, pulls samples at the appropriate time point.
  • Arranges all outside testing (to outside labs and QC), reviews and enters results into LIMS. Coordinates all FedEx and shipping activities for the lab.
  • Conducts physical testing such as but not limited to physical appearance, fill weight, tablet weight, particle size distribution and reports results.
  • Ensures preventative maintenance and OQs are performed regularly for analytical instrumentation. Maintains the stability chambers.
  • Manages the chemical waste in the lab and maintains the gases used.
  • Maintains documentation on special samples forms, stability protocols and archives records data per current SOP.

  • Ensures Pharmavite Safety Requirements, SOP’s and cGMP’s are followed in assigned project areas and supports various safety initiatives in the lab
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is detail-orientated and can work well in a fast-paced environment to deliver results in a good timely manner. You recognize Pharmavite's key values, coordinate with the supervisor to support the daily lab activities.
You’ll be most successful in this role if you have:
  • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects.
  • Good time management skills so assignments are completed on time.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
  • Math skills required to calculate averages and percentages.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of formulation functionality for excipients and active ingredients.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills including data entry, word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Hands-on experience with LIMS, analytical instruments or physical techniques is a plus.
In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:
  • A minimum of 7 to 6 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, nutritional, food or other consumer packaged goods in manufacturing, technical support, process/product development or quality
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Ability to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
  • Ability to move about in the lab and office. Attention to details at frequent intervals, some eye strain. Routine manipulation skills, walking, standing, lifting and exposure to minor irritants. Able to intermittently lift 25–50 pounds.

Annual Pay
Annual Pay Range
$58,500.00 - $87,800.00
This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.
Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.
Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor.
