Overview:
Seeking a Senior Analyst in our Pricing and Compliance team that will support government contract account regulatory compliance operations. The position will serve an active role in planning and monitoring our cost structures and various other compliance related functions. This role will work closely with stakeholders from various internal and external organizations and requires strong communication skills as well as strong understanding of government contracting and US GAAP.
Responsibilities:
- Support the company’s accounting compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) accounting rules
- Track monthly actuals of FAR/DFARS allowable indirect rates
- Participate in the preparation of the Annual Incurred Cost Submissions
- Support/Update the company’s Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) Disclosure Statement
- Document and facilitate application of FAR/DFARS compliance-related internal policies and procedures
- Serve as a liaison with government auditors and contracting officers
- Prepare and conduct FAR/DFARS compliance related training as determined in collaboration with leadership
- Participate in modeling of potential impacts for future cost structure
- 5+ years’ experience in government contracting (internal corporate audit or compliance-related accounting role) and/or as a government auditor
- Prior experience with Incurred Cost submissions
- Strong understanding of the FAR & CAS
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Bachelor’s degree with majors in accounting, finance, or related area
Preferred:
- Proactive, self-starter, team player
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience interacting with or working at the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
- Experience in Business Central Accounting Software
- Experience in PowerBI a plus
This position will periodically require time in the office for team meetings, working sessions, and on-site audits approximately 5 times a month.
