JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Analyst is responsible for providing monthly market intelligence reports that highlight Sales & Marketing KPIs and insights directly to Sr. Level Executives, including the C-Suite. Additionally, this position will support Sales Operations for the Regional Sales Team to improve the ease of doing business amongst different internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, this position will help support the pricing team in processing daily bus quotes to drive profitability and revenue for the company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor, analyze and communicate market/industry trends in the school bus market to help the Sales team meet organizational targets
• Manipulate large data sets for business insights and drive business solutions
• Identify areas of opportunity based on research, statistics and data to understand customer segments/behavior to develop appropriate pricing strategies that drive incremental revenue
• Ability to drive and complete projects/initiatives successfully amongst different stakeholders within the company
• Communicate complex analytical topics to multiple stakeholders in a clean and simple manner to address current and future business challenges
• Provide pricing support for the Revenue Management team
• Manage diverse assignments while simultaneously working within a deadline driven environment
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management, within scope of practice

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong knowledge and experience in building reports and dashboards within BI applications, i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
• Must be detail oriented with proven analytical skills based on prior work experience and/or projects
• Knowledge in Python, R and/or SQL
• Strong critical thinking skills; able to think outside of the box and identify innovative approaches to business challenges
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Capable of managing confidential and proprietary information
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strong time management, organizational and record keeping skills
• Desire to build a long-term career at Blue Bird

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Compute Science or any other related analytical field
• 7+ years of data analytics experience required
• Salesforce experience a plus
