The Role at a Glance
As a Capital Management and Forecasting Senior Analyst, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for your assigned area(s) of Financial Analysis responsibility. You will prepare, analyze, and report on complex financial information and provide management with a complex financial perspective.
What you'll be doing
- Creating robust, organized, and detailed financial models with scenario analytics that:
- advise on key business strategy decisions.
- allow enterprise to allocate excess capital to the highest and best use.
- Developing a multi-year bottom-up capital forecast in partnership with business areas and Finance organization
- Examining and identifying the drivers of historical variations in capital
- Partnering with business areas and Finance organization to enhance modeling capabilities and methodologies.
- Working collaboratively with other independent reviewers and challenge partners
- Understanding the overall regulatory capital framework and monitoring the ongoing changes to assess the potential impact on capital.
- Leading ad-hoc analytics and projects as requested.
What we’re looking for
Must-Haves:
- 5-7+ Years’ experience in financial analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skill
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Proactiveness to take on extra responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Significant experience in Excel and Power Point
Nice-to-haves:
- Life Insurance industry experience and statutory accounting knowledge is a plus
- CFA charter holder or progress towards CFA is preferred
- Actuarial credentials (ASA or FSA) or progress towards ASA or FSA is a plus

Pay Range: $87,700 - $159,900
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
