SUMMARY

Performs Accounts payable (A/P) functions which include processing invoices and payments through the payables system. Interacts with vendors and internal departments to resolve account discrepancies and facilitate the payment process. Assists the Manager in monthly closing duties as required. Completes banking verification for ACH account changes. Liaises with internal and external audit teams as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitates and troubleshoots invoices through the A/P System (Abecas Insight).
• Key invoices and ensuring all appropriate approvals are included.
• Obtain vendor statements and reconcile.
• Generates payments in Abecas (Checks)
• Performs month-end closing duties including processing open transactions in a timely manner, recording payments to the general ledger, and working closely with various areas of the business in order to facilitate month-end close. Ensures that transactions in Abecas are processed prior to closing the monthly period.
• Performs banking verification steps to confirm vendor banking additions/changes.
• Administers the supplier master data records. This includes entering new suppliers, facilitating banking information and related changes, and ensuring that supplier records are accurate.
• Assists the Manager with internal and external audit teams to provide reports and documentation based on various inquiries and projects.
• Knowledge of 1099s and USA taxes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is important.

SALARY RANGE: The base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 - $70,000. With the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
