WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

· Preparing and recording journal entries.

· Maintaining asset system.

· Juggling priorities to meet a constant stream of deadlines.

· Generating reports - both internal and external.

· Cross training to be backup for a variety of financial functions within the department.

· Implementing internal controls and best practices to drive accuracy and efficiency of the month end close process.

· Performing other duties as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO TERMINIX:

Education: College degree in accounting or finance preferred OR equivalent education/experience.

Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience.

Technical Skills: Proficient use of computer applications, including Microsoft Office, with emphasis on spreadsheets, word processing, and database software. Ability to operate 10-key with accuracy. Knowledge of AS400 or CS Professional Suite program preferred.

Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-orientation and organization. High level of integrity along with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Team player who can work independently as well as collaboratively with different levels of employees.
