We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our passionate and creative team in Farmington New York. This dynamic role in our accounting office reports directly to the CFO and is primarily responsible for flexibly supporting both corporate accounting and also the direct accounting needs of our in-house timber framing, construction, design, and fine woodworking divisions.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicating easily with all coworkers while the taking lead on assigned projects.

Required Experience:

· 5 years’ experience in corporate accounting or business administration

· Very familiar with MS office products – strong Excel skills

· Critical thinking and attention to detail

· Knowledge of GAAP and its application; ability to support corporate accounting processes

· Previous experience and expertise with Acumatica or other ERP software

· Ability to work with coworkers at all levels and across multiple companies

Preferred Experience:

· Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.

· Experience with socially and environmentally conscious business models.

Required Education: 2-yr degree in Accounting or Business Administration (4 yr degree preferred)

For Pay Transparence: Compensation Description

The base salary range for this position is $60k - $80k yearly.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
