Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for providing accounting support to the Controller and other members of the accounting and finance team. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), full cycle accounting, and experience with working in the manufacturing industry.

Job Duties:

• Record transactional and operational accounting records within QuickBooks Enterprise for Manufacturing & Wholesale
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all types of accounts, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, etc., to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger reliability.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly and quarterly state sales and use taxes.
• Assist with financial statement preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including consolidations.
• Assist with external audit and tax preparation
• Work proactively and interdepartmentally to collect pertinent financial information from factory and production personnel (Facility Site Managers, HR, Engineers, Supply chain, etc…)
• Review work and provide guidance to Staff Accountant

Requirements:

• Prior work experience as an Accountant, Senior Accountant, or related position
• Prior experience in the Manufacturing industry
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation
• Hands-on experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions, preferably within QuickBooks (Enterprise for Manufacturing & Wholesale)
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field
• Available for periodic travel to our Pampa, TX location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
