Position objective:
The Senior Accountant - Asset Management will provide support to the Asset/Titles department. The position will work closely with Asset manager, and in conjunction with the accounting department. He/she will be responsible for processing vehicle sales, titles & fleet disposal. As well as dealing with auction payables, vehicle registrations, new titles, and fleet acquisitions. This candidate will assist the Asset Manager with overseeing the department and provide back up for the manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Document vehicles sales, process titles and FedEx titles/spare keys to buyers.
- Record daily proceed deposits and review any applicable fees or Auction AP deducted from the proceeds are correct and if required, have an approval PO.
- Assists with disposing of fleet and verify data for accuracy.
- Handle auction accounts payable whether it is billed directly or deducted from sale proceeds.
- Responsible to verify all fees and services performed on the vehicles are correct according to auction agreement and have applicable approval PO.
- Process invoices billed directly for payment. If any discrepancies, work with recon and auctions to resolve.
- Assist clients with renewal of vehicle registrations, replacement plates and/or tags, and weight increases.
- Record new registration information into system, email clients copy of new registrations and tracking confirmation along with sending out registration/tags/plates to clients via FedEx.
- Verify new vehicle documents for accuracy and enter vehicle information into the system.
- Review and prepare wholesale orders for payment.
- Review all new vehicles titles to make sure are accurate and do not have any DVM errors.
- Assist with any other duties assigned
Skills and Experience
- Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (excel/outlook), adobe suite
- Dynamics Business Central and CRM experience preferred
- Results driven and proactive; strong desire to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence
- Adaptability/flexibility to change as company requires

Languages: English fluency required
Training/Education required: College degree in Finance, Accounting or a similar field preferred
Experience required: Asset management is a must
Salary Range: $65k - $75k/year DOE
Must be willing to complete Background Check and MVR
